The Gran Via is one of the main streets of Madrid, Spain. It starts in Alcalá Street and ends at the Plaza de España. It is famous for its movie theaters, although in recent years some have closed and others have been converted with great success, in musical theaters, so the stretch between the Plaza de Callao and that of Plaza de España is known as the Broadway of Madrid.
